1) Distro: both Fedora 11 and Ubuntu 9.04. Only with CentOS 5.3 the sound is
working.
2) I've tried a lot of solution. In Ubuntu 9.04 I've installed the latest
drivers from Linuxant 1.0.20.3. This fixed the "Generic" Codec in
/proc/asound/card0/codec#2 In Fedora is already correct
3) Kernel 2.6.29.6-217.2.8.fc11.i686.PAE (actually in Fedora 11)
4) ALSA:
Driver version: 1.0.18a
Library version: 1.0.20
Utilities version: 1.0.20
5) Desktop Gnome 2.26.3
