PAST QUEBEC SUMMERSIDE - Cory Avery helped his own cause, blasting a towering two-run home run in the sixth inning about 350 feet as the East Hants Henchmen rallied from a 3-2 deficit to take their game with Quebec 4-3 Wednesday afternoon. Avery (2-4, two runs scored, triple) also struck out five in going the distance allowing three runs on five hits. John Gunn (2-3, RB), Laurie Isenor (1-3, RBI double) and Andy Chase (1-2, two runs scored). Quebec was led by Mathieu Benoit (1-1, RBI), Charles Hebert (1-3, run scored, RBI, stolen base), Mathieu Lessard (1-3, double) and Pascal Gonthier (1-2, triple, run scored). Francis LeClair threw a stellar game in his fourth outing, but came away winless yet again. He struck out 13 batters walked one and allowed four runs on just six hits.
