We posted a new draft for notification mechanism(http://tools.ietf.org/id/draft-sun-alto-notification-00.txt) from the ALTO server to reflect the change of network information timely. It can lead the p2p stream traffic to keep up with the ISP’s policy and the topology adjustment. It can also lessen the burden of the ALTO client and server for getting the same information repeatedly via the current query/response mechanism. Any comment are welcome. Best Regards.
