Wow sounds like it will be a great event and a good test of your yagi
pointing skills!

It seems that as you go higher and/or go from 3->5->7 element yagis...
pointing becomes more important.

So far I have been pretty slack with my yagi pointing...
Once i forgot completely and just left the yagi on the table and i lost
reception on the way up after 450m
then i picked the yagi (5-element) up and started searching for the rocket
just after apogee
Looking at the TM data later on corresponding to that time with the rocket
at about 2500m 8kft...
- before i had spotted the rocket and while i was just waving the yagi
around the sky the RSSI was about -95
- as soon as i spotted the rocket and pointed the yagi at it the RSSI went
up to -80

Wouldnt it be nice to have a yagi on a servo with a feedback loop from the
telemetry data for azimuth/elevation!

One other thought for a possible enhancement to altosui...
Given that it is better for the groundstation to be far away from the pad...
how about the ability to display rocket coords relative to groundstation
instead of pad?
