Keith,

Thanks for the (very encouraging) response/information!!!

RE: Have you configured the callsign for both devices to match? To prevent
accidental configurations on the flight line, TM will ignore stuff it
gets from a device with a different callsign.

I *think* I've set that up correctly but a slip of the finger might
have caused trouble.

Ah, is it case sensitive? ("KK6EKP" is not the same as "kk6ekp"?)

I think I always used CAPs, but I do remember the software showing
me the call sign is lower case.

RE: Did you leave TeleMetrum turned on? If so, it will take somewhere
between days and forever to charge the battery, and the light will
never
go out as TM draws enough current that the charger thinks it's still
busy.

I think I (tried) to charge it first with a USB charger wall-wart (with the
altimeter off)
And then with my laptop with the altimeter on.

With the wall-wart, I vaguely remember feeling "Did that work?" And with
all the extension
cords in my rocket lair (garage) it certainly possible that something got
bumped so that
that plug wasn't getting juice.

Question: Will the yellow/orange light be on when the altimeter is "off"?
