That is what I was seeing. Did you upgrade from a previous MacOS? My “Java” is happily at the latest version, but there was a command in the terminal (that I would have to go look up) that shows some old system pointer to an older Java. I haven’t the time now to figure out how to override that, but my guess is it would fix the problem.
