Older *Mega firmware would lock out the baro sensor above mach 1. Flying
well above 30km meant that you'd never use the baro sensor at all as
you'd ignore it above mach 1 up to 30km, and then ignore it above 30km.

Newer firmware de-sensitizes the Kalman filter to the baro sensor to
avoid mach transition problems, but keeps using it all the way to
30km. This makes the system have a much better estimate of speed and
acceleration at that point and should give a better apogee estimate.
