I am also running Windows 10 and have similar problems with USB not recognizing
connected items. Have ot go to file manager and scroll down to usb device and
click on it.
May be a Windows problem and not an easymini. Just Hoping this helps.

Subject: Re: [altusmetrum] EasyMini

Hi Any,

Not sure if this will be much help but I use Easy Minis and found them to be
very tolerant with connectivity unlike my Perfectflites which give me problems.
I am assuming you're running AltOS and clicking on Save Flight Data. On my
setup it does not matter when you boot up the Easy Mini (i.e. before or after
plugging in the USB cable). Also, I do not need an e-match connected.

I have tried different usb ports on my laptop. I have tried turning on the
easymini while it is plugged in to the usb. The easymini does go into pad
mode, and was wondering if I need e-matches connected or not connected. I
don't have any e-matches, but have some coming.
