Right.  The original motivation for the companion interface was my
desire to have more than 2 pyro channels, which led to a companion board
called TelePyro that I built prototypes of, but never flew.  I ended up
designing TeleMega which had the required additional pyro channels for
some of my more complex projects instead.

After that, my son got interested in some data collection that caused me
to build a couple variations of a companion board I called TeleScience,
one of which flew, and I even sold one of the prototypes to a friend to
play with.  But this board also did not ever go into production.

I toyed with making a motor data collection board I call EasyMotor that
we're about to introduce as a new product capable of being either
standalone or a companion board, but after thinking about it, I decided
to simplify the design and have it be standalone only.

There's nothing on my horizon right now that needs the companion port,
so Keith is right that it's just not on our list of active concerns
right now.
