I need some help with my TeleMega. I have had the unit for 11 months, but have
been unable to fly due to Covid and a lack of a Ham license.

I finally got my license and fired up my TeleMega this afternoon (SN 6671) and
my TeleBit (SN 7098). I had previously downloaded the 1.9.6 on my MacBook Pro
running Catalina 10.15.7. I was able to connect the TeleBT to my Apple iPhone
with no trouble. The TeleBT connected right up to the TeleMega. The GPS came
online and the iPhone announced everything just fine. I was able to run two
recovery simulations.

TeleMega configuration:
Hard switch connected to bottom left "Switch"
Lipo / Pyro jumped
Fully charged 3.7 Volt 950 mAh battery connected to the onboard power connector

I decided to update the firmware before I tested the Apogee and Main pyros with
a couple of e-matches.

I updated the Mac software first. It came right up and I checked to ensure I
was now running 1.9.7
I Flashed the memory of the TeleMega. When I updated the firmware, I noticed
the RF Calibration numbers for the new Firmware were different. I changed the
numbers to the ones on the TeleMega: 56965. I flashed the TeleBT.

I hooked up the two e-matches, turned on the TeleMega and the TeleBT did not
connect. I tried rebooting all of the components several times in different
orders. I reflashed all the components firmware and nothing. I came back to it
an hour later and the the TeleBT connected right up. I was picking the unit up
so I suspected the switch. I decided to remove the hard switch and replace it
with a wire. The unit came up again. Thinking I had isolated the problem, I
connected the two ematches and the unit again failed to connect. I do not get
a continuity beep nor have I at anytime the e-matches are connected.

I am at a loss as what to do next.

Thanks,

Sam

I removed the switch
