Every now and then there is a tape problem when Amanda runs. Of course it then goes to degraded mode and spools to disk. You then have to run an amflush to dump to tape. I am wondering about the feasibility of trying to start taper multiple times during the backup on the assumption that the operator has intervened to correct the problem. b. -- Brian J. Murrell
