Yep. So that you don't need Amanda to restore your system after a
major disk crash.

If you have multiple images that fit individually in multiple tapes,
you don't have to switch tapes manually between them.

Either create multiple filesystems or use Amanda+GNU tar to backup
separate sub-directories of this 60GB filesystem.
