Hi,
I need to backup a Windows client.
I wrote on the Samba host (which is tape server too):
1. in /etc/amandapass: the Windows share name
(//pluto/software/), clear text password and domain (lallino.it).
2. in /home/amanda/.amandahosts: fully qualified
tape server host name and Amanda user.
3. in /usr/local/etc/amanda/test/disklist: the
name of the Unix machine running SAMBA (pippo.lan.lallino.it), the area to the
Windows share name (//pluto/software/), dumptype
using gnutar.
I run amcheck but it doesn't work well and answers
in this way:
ERROR: pippo.lan.lallino.it: [can't find password
for file://pluto/software/]
ERROR: pippo.lan.lallino.it: [can not read/write /etc/amandates: No such file or directory] ERROR: pippo.lan.lallino.it: [can not read/write /bin/tar/.: Not a directory] Could anyone help me?
