On the report (via mail) I get:

And when trying to recover:

On the /tmp/amanda/amidxtaped.debug I get:
...

amidxtaped: amrestore terminated normally with status: 2
Rewinding tape: done

My question is: What pipe got broken? How do I solve this? It seems to me that
this problem is due to the removal of some files. If this is the case, why?
I'm calling tar (GNUTAR) with --ignore-failed-read, which (as far as I know)
should solve this problem.
Hope I'm not asking basic questions. If anyone could help me, I would be
grateful.
Cheers,
Gonzalo Arana
