Thanks - I tend to forget these "details".
I decided to wait some runs more and then report - I came to the
conclusion that the filesystems *might* really have changed that much,
without me realizing it. Let's wait some days and see if the phenomenon
persists ("actively waiting for my problems to go away" ;-))
