I am trying to upgrade from Amanda 2.4.0 to 2.4.2 and would like to
test the two versions concurrently. There is some info on
docs/UPGRADE on how to do this. It does mention that specifying "--
with-testing" in "configure" the amanda service name will be called
amanda-test.
However....
Do all servers and clients need to be built with "--with-testing"
Once the test is over, do I need to "./configure" w.o/--with-testing
and rebuild, reinstall amanada inorder to start using the new
(2.4.2) version.
The information on this testining process is sort of vague.
Anyone have some advice.
