Hi All
I am pretty new to the group and the amanda backup software. I have backups and need
to restore and file from a particular tape with multiple backup of servers on one
tape. How do I do this and restore the the file to the local machine and then
transporting it to the server where I need the file. If I run amrecover, I get the
following problem
amrecover -C /usr/local/etc/amanda/csd/amanda.conf -d /dev/rmt/stctl0
AMRECOVER Version 2.4.1p1. Contacting server on server ...
amrecover: Error connecting to server: Connection refused
Are there other command lines that I can use with amrestore. I need to restore a file
of a particular server and redirect the output to the local machine.
