Hi,

I run AMANDA here to backup on a EZ17 autoloader with M-2 drive about
10 UNIX servers and workstations and 15 Windows machines. I have been
using 2.4.1 with samba-2 patch on the backup server, and it had been
working fine for a few months.

I've decided to try and install 2.4.2, which has been working fine
except that it has broken Samba share access. It gives the following
error for each share:

ERROR: rei: [PC SHARE //yves/c access error: host down or invalid
password?]

I'd expect to get that error if the windows machines were down, but
they are working fine.

I believe that the amandapass format has changed, to include the
username (backup was the default one, right ?) but I haven't been
able to find anything that documented that change.

It probably is a minor, stupid detail. But I can't seem to find the
answer. Please advise :)

Thanks for you help !
