how to do backup on more one tape without automatic changer ?

hello,

I must make full backup of some server with a lot of disks. How does
multitape work ?
If I put "runtapes 2" in amanda.conf should I set tpchanger.

I have a IBM DLT8000 without changer, if backup start on the night, may I
change the tape on the morning ?
