amrecover works with an holding disk image?

Hi all:

I've not a tape unit in my system. I'm probing backups with amanda into a
holding disk.

The copies are rigth, but I try to do "amrecover Daily" and the system say:

AMRECOVER Version 2.4.2. Contacting server on server ...
amrecover: Unexpected server end of file


I restore well with amrestore -p .... | tar xv, but Does not amrecover works
with an holdingdisk image?
