Majordomo does it quite nicely.
In amanda-users.config, add a line that says
subject_prefix = [amanda-users]
Tho I myself would prefer to see a more terse prefix ... maybe
[AMU]. Many mailers display only the first xx characters of the
subject line on the index screen.
