Seems very similar to the problem with the regular solaris 8 client. For
example, there are hundreds of files in one user directory on the samba
share, but only one file is visible in the amrecover process. Entire
directories are missing, etc. etc...
Very similar to the problem I am (was) having with my solaris 8 and the
bum gnutar. It is very possibly a user permissions problem on the Windows
share. SAMBA in the docs says to make an administrator-level user for the
backup user... I should check that.
I just tried manual pseudo-backup of some of the samba share from the
command line. Seems to be reading just fine. Guess it's an amanda
smbclient command line error? Hrm... just deleted the /tmp/amanda debug
logs... guess I'll just run it all again :>
Thanks for all your help..
