Hi,

I've got the same problem with my OnStream ADR50i (SCSI-Controller:
AHA-2940U2W). /var/log/messages reports "sens key errors" and "timeouts".

My data:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 02 Lun: 00
Vendor: OnStream Model: ADR50 Drive Rev: 2.33
Type: Sequential-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02

On which speed synchronizes your System the tape-drive?
(scsi0:0:2:0)
  Device using Narrow/Sync transfers at 20.0 MByte/sec, offset 8
  Transinfo settings: current(12/8/0/0), goal(12/127/0/0), user(12/127/0/0)
Total transfers 289603 (137412 reads and 152191 writes)

My tape works a little bit slow:
                          Total Full Daily
                        -------- -------- --------
Avg Dump Rate (k/s) 290.9 295.5 190.3

What rates do you have?

Thanks for you help!
Christian
