Hi

I having problems using `amrecover` to find files to restore:
on one of my client machines (santafe) I have a filesystem mounted
on '/opv'. The actual backup directory is one of the subdirectories
below '/opv/rnd'. When I start `amrecover` on santafe woth $CWD being
'/opv/rnd' I get following output:
AMRECOVER Version 2.4.2p2. Contacting server on backup ...
220 berkeley AMANDA index server (2.4.2p2) ready.
200 Access OK
Setting restore date to today (2001-05-22)
200 Working date set to 2001-05-22.
200 Config set to daily.
200 Dump host set to santafe.
Can't determine disk and mount point from $CWD

The debug file on the backup server prints the following information:
> DATE 2001-05-22
< 200 Working date set to 2001-05-22.
> SCNF daily
< 200 Config set to daily.
> HOST santafe
< 200 Dump host set to santafe.
> DISK /opv
< 501 No index records for disk: /opv. Invalid?
> DISK hda9
< 501 No index records for disk: hda9. Invalid?

After I used `setdisk /opv/rnd` at the 'amrecover` prompt I
gamrecover> setdisk /opv/rnd
Scanning /data/amanda/dumps/daily...
Scanning /mnt/amanda/dumps/daily...
200 Disk set to /opv/rnd.
No index records for disk for specified date
If date correct, notify system administratoret

and on the backup server debug:> DISK /opv/rnd

- 2001-05-21 1 daily1 20
- 2001-05-17 1 daily8 19

- 2001-05-15 1 daily6 22
- 2001-05-14 1 daily5 19
- 2001-05-10 1 daily4 26
- 2001-05-09 1 daily3 25
< 200 Disk set to /opv/rnd.
> OISD /
Uncompress command: /bin/gzip -dc
'/var/amanda/daily/index/santafe/_opv_rnd/20010522_1.gz' 2>/dev/null |
sort > '/var/amanda/daily/index/santafe/_opv_rnd/20010522_1'
f /var/amanda/daily/index/santafe/_opv_rnd/20010522_1
< 500 "/" is an invalid directory
> OISD /
f /var/amanda/daily/index/santafe/_opv_rnd/20010522_1
< 500 "/" is an invalid directory

What am I doing wrong?

        Paolo

PS - I use GNUTAR to backup.
