Hi all,
My autoloader recently decided to become braindead on me and probably
needs to go back to the manufacturer for repair. Until then I need to
use a standalone drive for backups. Before I go spend days trying to
do that which would seem to be relatively simple, I have a couple of
questions:
Can I use the same amanda.conf file I was using before?
Do I need to comment out the "changer" related lines,
or can I leave those alone?
The changer has a DLT-7000 drive, the stand alone has an 8000.
If I leave the tapetype defs alone in the conf file, will I
be able to read the tapes written on the 8000 in the changer's
7000 drive later?
