Hi all!

I was just wrestling with an Exabyte 220, AMANDA, and Solaris8 for the
past week, and after successfully installing SCTCL (to interface between
AMANDA and the hardware), I tried to see if amcheck would tell me happy
news.

Instead its' unable to read the status from stc-changer. After doing a
little looking I can see one (potential?) problem: When I do an
'stc-changer -slot 1' It will load the tape (via robotic arm) just fine,
but the exit code I get is in a different format than amcheck expects.

I get the slot #, total # of slots, and one other number I forget now
instead of:

exit code, total # of slots, and one other unimportant at this juncture
number.

Am I right in thinking that the reason amcheck can't get status from
stc-changer is because it's getting a slot number instead of a 0 (zero)
for 'successful'? And, if so, how can I change one thing to please the
other?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Mahalo,

Chris
