You don't, unless you kludge it. Amanda decides when to do full backups.
You *can*, however, tell amanda to do a full backup once a week, and
incrementals on the other days, which is close to what you do above.

Do you mean full backups (e.g. for archiving) outside of the normal
schedule? That's easy to do with a second configuration with a dumpcycle
of 0 and a large tapecycle. If that's not what you mean, then I don't
know what you mean.

The amanda chapter on "Unix Backup and Recovery" (which is also online at
www.backupcentral.{com|org} (can't remember) is very helpful.
