Does anyone have the current chg-zd-mtx changer script working correctly on
Linux. I have Amanda 2.4.2p2 with mtx 1.2.13 on Debian Linux. Whenever I
try to use the Amanda utilities they always return errors. I can use mtx and
mt just fine, but when using amtape, amlabel, etc.., they always return
errors. These errors basically say chg-zd-mtx returned an improper value. I
read through the debug files and they don't show the errors. If you have a
working configuration I would love to see it. I do currently have chg-multi
working now, thanks to Charles Marble, but I would like to use mtx to be able
to automate drive cleaning and tape rotations. My drive is a Compaq TSL-
10000 (20/40GB DAT Autoloader) with an 8-cassette magazine. The drive is
/dev/sg0 and the changer is /dev/sg1.

There is little to no documentation on this subject with the software source
or on the internet. I might actually do some documenting on this if I get it
working.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any help.
