Hi,
a short question: your tape and your changer are both SCSI-devices,
correct?
so why don't you use the chg-scsi changer-interface in amanda?
this week i got a adic-changer with a HP-Dat-drive in it, and it took
me about one hour to get it working correct with my debian-2.2 box.
realy staight out of the box.
i took the example-configuration comming with amanmda,
made a few changes and it simply worked.
