Hi,
I'm having some serious issues with restoring from backups using AMANDA
2.4.2p2 (upgraded from 2.4.1p1 which had the same problems) on Linux 2.2.16
with an Ecrix tape drive using VXA-17 tapes.
amrecover and amrestore both cause these kinds of messages and fail:
st0: Error with sense data: Info fld=0x1, Current st09:00: sense key Medium Error
Additional sense indicates Unrecovered read error
st0: Error with sense data: Info fld=0x1, Current st09:00: sense key Medium Error
Additional sense indicates Recorded entity not found
However, I was able to restore with mt/dd/restore.
Any ideas?
