Yeah, while using dump, I saw random data timeouts on filesystems which worked the previous night. I even saw them during a second run on the same night (one for Daily, one for Archive). I finally got sick of dump and switched all our hosts to using tar. I haven't had any data timeouts since *knock wood*. > It's hardware raid.
