Hi all, I recently discovered that my amanda setup does not have indexing turned on, so I have to use amrestore to recover data. I'd like to use amrecover. What are the requirements for indexing? Does it take much more time/disk space/tape usage? Why is the default to have it turned off? Also, if I just turn it on in the amanda.conf file, will it work from now on?
