Amanda writes to the tapes in the order in which they were first used -- 
it really doesn't care what day it is.  But you *should* have gotten a 
message the morning you forgot to put in a new tape, telling you that 
dumps were left on the holding disk, and to run amflush.  If you do that, 
then run that night's dump as scheduled, then your association of tapes 
with days won't be off.

If you don't have a holding disk and so don't need to amflush, well, it's 
time to reassign which tapes go with which days... ;)
