You have to run ./configure to convert chg-zd-mtx.sh.in to chg-zd-mtx.sh,
then the make would create chg-zd-mtx from chg-zd-mtx.sh.  Doing the
install by hand (assuming you made sure it ended up +x) is fine.

I'm pretty sure it's not even processing your config file.  Note that
it also says "cleanslot" is "-1", among other mismatches.

I put a new version in the same place that will test to make sure the
config file is available, and updated one of the messages to show which
file is being processed.  You can either get a new copy or I've appended
the patch.

BTW, thanks for helping test this.  I don't run mtx here (it's a long
story), and testing this script has been a real adventure.
