If you have 'amcheck CONFIG' working, then you probably have set up the server as a client. Now you just need to duplicate those steps on other clients. Read the INSTALL file that comes with Amanda. If you have problems, let us know what OS you're running and what errors Amanda reports back including the relevant debugging information generally found in /tmp/amanda.
