Dear Amanda users,
I've been subscribed since April Fools Day, 2002 (rather appropriate,
as regards this message). The help from lurking on this list has been
enormous. My thanks to all of you, and especially to those who
patiently give replies to all the FAQ's that show up. :)
Our Amanda configuration is stable enough now that I'm probably not
going to continue keeping up with this list (which is really quiet now,
so I'm even more likely to get away with a slightly off-topic message).
Just as a parting shot, however, I have an announcement:

P.S. No, I'm not nearly nerdy enough to name my own child after a
software package. We just liked the name. It _does_ get a
little weird, though, when I talk about flushing a week's worth
of Amanda dumps. ;)
