Search the list archives a bit -- I recall John R. Jackson posting a listing of domain names subscribed to the list. While a subscription doesn't necessarily imply use, the listing was long enough and had enough big names that it was rather impressive. As a random data point, I back up over .5TB over my dumpcycle with amanda and consider myself a pretty small install.
