Yes, there is a parameter that tells amanda it may use more than one tape. The parameter is "runtapes #" where # is the "maximum" number of tapes amanda is allowed to use for a single amdump run. Be aware, as others have pointed out, no single entry in your disklist file can be split across two tapes. Thus each entry, not the total list, but each entry, must be smaller than the tape capacity. -- Jon H.
