One more thing to ask. I have installed GNU tar 1.13.25 for HPUX 11.0 from the HP archive server (hpux.cs.utah.edu) (hoping i would save time adding it by swinstall rather than compiling). Gettext and libiconv (as required by gnu tar) are in place. It now prints the message /usr/lib/dld.sl can not open shared file /usr/local/lib/libintl.sl That file does not exist. I used tar 1.12 before -- it never asked for it. Any ideas how to get it?.. Should not GNU tar README specify then it is required?..
