Well it all seems ok. My index directory has
the indexes in it "20020830_0.gz"
When i zcat them everything looks good
inside.
However I get this error whe i statup
amrecover
Here is the output
AMRECOVER Version 2.4.2p2. Contacting server on rsync.***.com ...
220 rsync AMANDA index server (2.4.2p2) ready. 200 Access OK Setting restore date to today (2002-08-30) 200 Working date set to 2002-08-30. 200 Config set to normal. 501 No index records for host: rsync.***.com. Invalid? Trying rsync.z-axis.com ... 501 No index records for host: rsync.***.com. Invalid? Trying rsync ... 200 Dump host set to rsync. $CWD '/eight3' is on disk '/eight3' mounted at '/eight3'. Scanning /usr/hold... 200 Disk set to /eight3. No index records for disk for specified date ------Error I am guessing If date correct, notify system administrator Invalid directory - /eight3 ------Another error, seems to look for the right directory but cannot find it because the index records are not there. Another strange thing is in the ~/index directory
it appended an _ to the directory name. So instead of eight3 it finds
_eight3.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks in advance.
