You have used it (via amrecover), you just didn't know it :-).

Amrestore (and several other parts of Amanda) convert '/' characters to
'_' to avoid generating directory tree names.  You almost had it right
with the last one, except you used "lvol19" and I'm betting that should
have been "lvol/19".

Put a different way, use the same thing you have in your disklist.
That's where the name comes from.
