I changed the runtapes to 5 and it still will not change tapes. IT fills up the first one and then runs out of tape. I am wondering why the next tape it says it needs to use is "a new tape" instead of a tape label.
These dumps were to tape daily24. *** A TAPE ERROR OCCURRED: [[new tape not found in rack]]. Some dumps may have been left in the holding disk. Run amflush to flush them to tape. The next 5 tapes Amanda expects to used are: a new tape, a new tape, a new tape, a new tape, a new tape.
Question was already asked, but not aswered. What are the settings in amanda.conf about your changer?
(e.g. Are you using the changer, or are you just using /dev/rmt/0 instead?)
