Is anyone using a fiber channel tape drive or library
with amanda and linux?
Our configuration is
linux server 1 linux server 2
| |
2 Gbit ethernet switch - fiber channel
|
raid filesystem 1 mapped to linux server 1
|
raid filesystem 2 mapped to linux server 1
|
raid filesystem 3 mapped to linux server 2
(possible addition)
| |
tape library - mapped to both hosts
scheduling will prevent contention
If you use a fiber channel drive, could you please describe
your configuration (OS, hardware, issues).
