Hi, Just had my first hand at 2.5.1p3 and I got a error with amcheck similar to the one I reported back in September with 2.5.1p1 while using bsdauth client authentication (server is the only client at the moment, irix-6.5.x):
WARNING: yorick: selfcheck request failed: EOF on read from yorick Client check: 1 host checked in 0.045 seconds, 1 problem found inetd.conf has been updated and HUPed along with amandahosts. I have multiple amanda instances in parallel configured using --with-testing=confX and I wonder if I'm hitting the same problem again. The amcheck debug files reports: amcheck: debug 1 pid 2241477 ruid 666 euid 666: rename at Wed Feb 14 09:45:39 2007 security_getdriver(name=bsdtcp) returns 4085bb0 security_handleinit(handle=1001df08, driver=4085bb0 (BSDTCP)) security_streaminit(stream=1002e5c8, driver=4085bb0 (BSDTCP)) amcheck-clients: time 0.028: connect_port: Skip port 512: Owned by exec. amcheck-clients: time 0.030: connect_port: Skip port 513: Owned by login. amcheck-clients: time 0.033: connect_port: Skip port 514: Owned by shell. amcheck-clients: time 0.035: connect_port: Skip port 515: Owned by printer. amcheck-clients: time 0.038: connect_port: Try port 516: Available - amcheck-clients: time 0.042: connected to 132.206.178.10.10088 amcheck-clients: our side is 0.0.0.0.516 amcheck-clients: try_socksize: send buffer size is u amcheck-clients: try_socksize: receive buffer size is u security_stream_seterr(1002e5c8, SOCKET_EOF) security_seterror(handle=1001df08, driver=4085bb0 (BSDTCP) error=EOF on read from yorick) security_close(handle=1001df08, driver=4085bb0 (BSDTCP)) security_stream_close(1002e5c8) amcheck: pid 2241477 finish time Wed Feb 14 09:45:39 2007 regards, jf
