Are you sure the DLE (estimate as 3508260 KB) should fit on 2 tapes?
What's the length of your tapetype?

Post the complete /usr/local/etc/amanda/TEST/logdir/amdump.1 file.

    Do you use your defined dumptype "user-tar-span" there?
