No. I mean: I haven't this two variables in my config. And if a variable is not there, then I guess amanda uses it's internal default values for that. The manpage shows that default values for many options, that are used, when not configured.




A year or so ago there was some confusion over - or _, and we realized
that half of our params had - and half had _.  Since there was no
rhyme or reason to it (we had a parameter or two with *both* if I
recall correctly), we decided to make the config consider them to be
the same thing.  It ain't pretty, but it works.  So you can spell it
either way.

Ok. It's just confusing. The warning says "_" and the manpage says "-". Maybe it would be good to use one way everywhere in the application/documentation and allow both (for backward compatibility) in the configuration.
