I've seen this error appear several times on this particular system.
[request failed: timeout waiting for ACK](too)
The result is that we have processes that don't self-terminate
after amanda completes. This causes the particular DLE to fail
on subsequent days.
Not sure what causes it, cleaned up one of these yesterday
and the problem recurred on a different DLE, you'd think
whatever bug was causing this OS or otherwise, was actually
alive.
Amanda 2.6.1p1, Solaris 10/x86
Server is the ONLY client.
I recently built and installed 3.1.1 on another x86 Solaris
system, do you recommend a simple upgrade or do you want to
see some logs first ?
