Greetings all;

I have posted a couple of times in the last 24 hours, no idea whats
happening to my emails.

Anyway, I installed Ubuntu-10.04 LTS on my milling machines box, then
installed the client packages for 2.6.1p1 on it, figuring I would recover my
gcode etc from the backups that have been, and are being mode nightly on
this machine.

amrecover access to the server times out after a minute.

In this machines /etc/xinetd.d/amanda, it looks as if I need to do
something with this line:
 only_from       = coyote.coyote.den

Commenting it out didn't work. Until I restarted xinetd that is. So now I
assume it might work as I am looking at the amrecover prompt in that ssh
shell session.

So the next question then is: Do I really need that line in my situation?
Or can I comma separate more than one hostname or perhaps use a
wildcarded.domain.name format, Like *.coyote.den there?

I have not had anyone get through dd-wrt to this machine unless I invited
them and gave them the passwds in several years, so I think I am moderately
secure.

Thanks.
