If there is a tape drive on a FC-SAN system, there
can be plural servers that can access the tape drive.

In this case, if plural amanda servers access the
tape drive simultaneously, Which case will happen?

I have no experience with tape drives on FC SAN, but I do have some experience with FC SAN in general, so I'm going to take an educated guess. My guess is that multiple hosts should not be allowed to access the tape drive. SAN zoning or some similar solution should be configured so only one host can see the tape drive. Otherwise mulitple, possibly contradicting, SCSI commands arriving from multiple hosts will completely confuse the drive and as result, no host can really use it.

This is not an Amanda issue, but rather a lower level issue with SCSI subsystem on the hosts.
