How do you install amanda (and the man page)
From svn repository? source tarballs? a package? Which one?

Sorry. Reading the forum it seems that this is a known problem with the Solaris
and has been happening for a while.
This is what I get when I run
nroff -man ./amstatus.8
System Administration Commands AMSTATUS(8)

: BLANK

Amanda 3.2.0 Last change: 10/18/2010 1
There is a lot of lines in the file it just does not get converted for display.

Solaris?
I use the web man pages, but it would be nice to have them local some
times.
Robert,
It would help if you would tell us 'how' they are not working.
As a last recourse you could "roff" them manually.
nroff -man amvault.8
groff -man -T ascii amvault.8
